Homeowner Arrested After Resisting Arrest, Police Say

LUNENBURG, Vt. -- Authorities are investigating a suspicious fire that destroyed a Lunenburg home.No one was injured in the Thursday night fire on Lancaster Road.
Police said the owner of the house, Steven Streeter, 40, was alerted to the fire by a passing motorist. He was able to get out of the house safely and was arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after police and firefighters arrived.
